Introduction to silver metal clay - afternoon workshop
Silver metal clay is a wonderful material that can be shaped and textured just like ceramic clay. It is made from silver particles mixed with organic binders and water which, when fired, burn away to leave beautiful fine silver. Silver metal clay enables jewellers to create organic shapes and to experiment with moulds and textures. Creating with silver clay is great fun and pretty magical when you see the fine silver suddenly appear after firing.
All tools, equipment and materials for the workshop are provided, this includes 7g of silver metal clay.
